# Astra October 2026 Release

## View confidence score data throughout Astra

See confidence score information in more places in Astra, making it easier to review and verify results quickly.

In AI Projects, you can now see confidence scores for Standards, Questions, and AI Columns, along with the existing scores for core data fields.

You can also see the same confidence score icons for core data fields alongside the document itself in the document viewer, instead of only in the Documents table. You also now have the ability to make corrections directly in the document, where you can complete a manual review or accept/overwrite flagged values.

## Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where unwanted ID text was sometimes prefixed to the title of documents uploaded to Astra.

Fixed an issue where navigating to Astra from Agiloft using SSO could cause a "failed to fetch" error. Now, users can log in using SSO as expected.

Fixed some issues around permissions in Astra, where previously some users could unexpectedly see Documents and Projects they hadn't created themselves. Now, all visible records and their count totals are properly reflected in both the user's interface and credit usage, as expected.

Fixed an issue where the Astra Word add-in only drafted redlines when selecting a stricter position, rather than allowing the reviewer to select a weaker fallback position and have redlining automatically drafted.

Fixed an issue where hovering over truncated values sometimes failed to show the full text content of the cell.

Fixed an issue where deleting a screen removed all of that screen's elements from the Elements Library, even if other screens used the same element. Now, all elements from a deleted screen that are being used in other screens still remain in the library.

Fixed an issue where the Astra Assistant occasionally failed to provide today's date, instead providing a date from a few days earlier.

## Add up to three fallback clauses for each standard

When creating a standard, you can now add up to three fallback clauses directly in that standard to reflect multiple positions your organization may have, or to quickly have backup language ready in case something wasn't approved in the primary standard. Astra will try each sequential fallback until one passes, or the options are exhausted.

To add a fallback to an existing standard, simply select the standard card and click + Add Fallback, which opens the same window you use when creating primary standards. For more information about fallback clauses, visit [Building Screens in Astra](https://agiloft-public.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Astra/pages/545194000).

## Screen run results now explicitly show if a fallback was used

Your Screen Run results now make it easy to check whether your standard passed with a preferred clause or one of your fallback clauses. Previously, you could only see a pass or fail.

## Quickly build new Screens with the Elements Library

You can now quickly reuse standards and questions thanks to the new Elements Library. This repository shows all the standards or questions in your workspace, so anyone in the workspace can view and reuse them. When you're working on a screen, simply click Browse Library to reuse an existing element. To create a new element instead, click New element.

If you want to make edits to an element from the library, it's best to duplicate the element first and make changes to your copy. If you change the original element, your changes apply to every place that element is already being used, which might cause unexpected results for others in your workspace.

For more information about using the Element Library, visit [Building Screens in Astra](https://agiloft-public.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Astra/pages/545194000).

## Screen results now displayed alongside the contract document

The Results tab has been removed in favor of a more immersive Documents page that includes your results, much like the experience in the Astra app for Microsoft Word. This offers an easier and more natural workflow for verifying Screen results, while also simplifying navigation.

The Astra app for Microsoft Word also offers several minor visual enhancements to make the app more user friendly, although the general format and navigation has not changed.

For more information about viewing results in Astra and the Word app, visit [Using Astra](https://agiloft-public.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Astra/pages/543621131).

## All instances of a failed standard are now redlined

If a document fails your standard in multiple places, all those places are now surfaced for redlining at once, for your convenience. This makes it easier to make consistent updates to the document in a single pass.

Previously, redlining applied only to the failure deemed most relevant, which sometimes required running the same screen more than once to catch and redline additional failures.

## Bug Fixes

Fixed several issues with the core data field confidence score feature that was recently added:

- Toggling the icons on and off no longer redirects you to the top of the page
- All fields are now editable, not just ones that have been flagged
- Null values are no longer erroneously marked as low confidence

Fixed an issue where integrated Astra customers could see projects created by other users, but no documents. Now, only user-created projects are visible, as expected.

Fixed an issue in Astra where the document count in a project erroneously reflected the total number of documents in the workspace, not the number in the project specifically. This had unintended consequences when adding custom data columns, as credits were consumed based on the incorrect total document count. Now, document count is displayed correctly, and credits are consumed accordingly.

Fixed an issue in the Elements Library where the Add Fallback button wasn't visible in View mode; now it is, and clicking it directs you to Edit mode

Fixed some issues with Astra redlining, including:

- Occasional failure to redline entire clauses
- Unnecessary, additional redline options being provided
- Improved redirection when clicking recurring clauses
- Failure to provide comprehensive fallback redlines when the fallback was applied in multiple places
- Text highlighted in Word did not always match the generated redline

Fixed some issues and made a few general improvements to the user interface:

- Document Viewer's element configuration modal window has been updated to match the new changes found in the Word Add-in's element configuration modal
- Easily delete element components with a new Delete icon that appears alongside each component
- The Open Questions field in the Scorecard tab has been renamed to Questions in Screen
- The Improve button is now a more appropriate size
- The Market feature is only displayed when running a Community Screen, as expected
- Improved handling of pasted text elements in the User Guidance field
- 0% Accuracy is correctly displayed with red text in Scorecard, instead of mistakenly showing as green
- Improved parity across the Word app and web app
- Improved the Apply changes button experience when redlining

Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Settings button and Info icon to overlap.

Fixed an issue where multiple instances of redlining were shown in one pane, without indicating the most relevant instance. Now, the most relevant redline is placed at the top with the option to expand to see additional related redlines.

Fixed an issue where running a screen without any fallback clauses would fail.

Fixed minor visual issues that sometimes occurred in the Reviewer Guidance field after creating a standard.

Fixed an issue where accepting redlines sometimes added extra blank space.

## New confidence score indicators for core data columns

Easily see data quality for extracted core data field values with the new confidence score system. On the Documents tab, any extracted value with a low confidence score now has a yellow risk icon next to it.

![Effective Date column showing a yellow warning icon for low confidence](media://0fcd7da1-f4c7-4f16-a6f5-a5b3edbf1101)

Click the icon to open a pane that displays the Source Language field, along with AI Reasoning for the assigned confidence score. Green shield icons indicate fields that were manually verified by another user.

For more information, visit [Using Astra](https://agiloft-public.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Astra/pages/543621131).

## Excel exports now show all structured outputs for Question elements

Astra’s Grid View and Excel exports now include separate columns for each answer when a Question is configured with multiple structured outputs. This offers the full set of extracted details both within Astra and in exported Excel reports. Previously, there was only a single answer column for these Questions.

## Matching search terms are now highlighted in the Astra Word app

Search results in the Project List View now automatically highlight the text matching your search terms, to make it easy to see why each result matched your search.

## Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where logging out of Astra sometimes also logged you out of your KB.

Fixed an issue where exporting CSV or XLSX files of large bulk analyses sometimes failed due to database size limits.

Fixed an issue where filtering performed on the Documents tab sometimes did not render until the page was refreshed. Now, filtering is applied immediately, as expected.

Fixed an issue where Screen Run actions uploading sets of especially large contract documents to Astra sometimes failed.

# Astra July 2026 Release

## New default Internal Party field in Astra

A new Internal Party field has been added to the Documents page of Astra, to go along with the existing Counterparty field. This gives you more information at a glance, as well as the ability to filter by internal entities.

## Upload documents with drag and drop

You can now upload documents in Astra with drag and drop, along with the existing Upload button. Simply locate the file on your computer and drag it into the Documents table in Astra.

## Bug Fixes

Fixed a few general issues in Astra, including:

- Truncated values not fully showing when hovered over errors from creating custom data columns
- Inconsistent data temporarily appearing in drop-down lists
- Visual discrepancies in the basic user interface display
- Temporarily missing buttons
- Lagginess

Fixed an issue where accessing Astra from your KB would prompt you to log in again, despite you already being logged in to the KB with the same credentials that would be required for Astra. Now, you're automatically redirected to Astra without the additional step, as expected.

Fixed an issue where sorting a data column reset the page to show only the default 20 entries, even if other entries were loaded. Now, sorting a column preserves entries that were previously loaded, as expected.

Fixed an issue where the Astra Word add-in sometimes did not apply Screen-generated redlines to documents that still had pending tracked edits in them. Now, users can apply redlines on top of existing tracked changes, as expected.

Fixed an issue where deploying Astra (**Setup > Integration > Screens**) could fail with a "com.supportwizard.ext.interfaces.ExtensionException: javax.ejb.ObjectNotFoundException" error if the Date Signed field was missing from the Contracts table. Now, the deployment automatically creates the field if necessary so the process can succeed.

Fixed an issue where Astra displayed a general Screening Error banner if any issues arose during a bulk analysis, rather than indicate which individual documents need to be retried.

Fixed an issue in the Word app where applying redlining suggestions to clauses that crossed a page break sometimes updated only the portion of the clause before the break. Now, changes are applied to the entire clause, as expected.

Fixed an issue where elements such as banners or the chat could overlap significant space in the user interface, particularly on smaller screens. Now, active user workspaces are prioritized correctly.

# Astra June 2026 Release

## New screen version notifications

Easily update to the latest version of a screen with the Fetch and Re-run Screen button. This button appears in the Word add-in after a screen you have previously run has been updated, and runs the latest version. The add-in periodically checks for screen updates while the task pane is open, and also checks when users return to the add-in from the web application.

## Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where filtering by failed documents was sometimes unavailable.

Fixed an issue where clicking Option (Alt) + Return on a Mac sent the chat message instead of inserting a line break.

Fixed an issue where adding multiple emails to a workspace would partially fail with no warning, and only add every other email address listed. Now, all email addresses are added, as expected.

Fixed some issues with duplicate redlines in the Word add-in, particularly issues stemming the Preferred Language field or when working in conjunction with existing Track Changes entries.

# Astra May 2026 Release

## Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue in Astra where CSV files could have an incorrectly parsed first column header. Now all column headers are processed correctly, as expected.

Fixed an issue where modifying a screen and running it again sometimes erroneously created a new project, instead of updating the results of the original project where you ran the screen.

Fixed an issue where the List View in a Project included new, unscreened documents as Pass values in the breakdown statistics.

Fixed an issue where filtering by failed documents was sometimes unavailable.
