Welcome to the Standard Knowledgebase Guide! This guide describes the out-of-the-box setup of Agiloft's standard knowledgebase (KB). The standard KB contains several modules that are preconfigured with best practices and automation.

> ℹ️ This guide describes the latest version of the out-of-the-box KB: Deployment ID A2608. To check your ID, go to **Setup > System > Manage Global Variables** and find Deployment ID on the Customized Variables tab. For other IDs, use the Standard System Documentation link on the Admin Welcome dashboard to access the guide for your system. You can also find earlier versions of this guide in the [documentation archive](https://agiloft-public.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SD/pages/44433907).

This guide is primarily intended for admin users or system designers who need structural information about the out-of-the-box system for customization purposes. Its purpose is to familiarize you with the default system and the concepts that inform its design before you start customizing it. Learning about the default setup can help you determine what functionality to use as-is, which components to repurpose, and what features to disable or hide. It may help you finalize your particular use cases or discover new use cases that could benefit your organization. 

The documentation introduces you to the core Agiloft CLM concepts, user interfaces, and permission handling. Then it transitions to an in-depth look at the platform modules and tables that make up those modules.
